Medicare 101 (& Public Hearing) at the Finkelstein Library on WednesdayNov. 29, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.Registration required.

Donna Gloc, HIICAP Coordinator from the Rockland County Office for the Aging will discuss Medicare basics, including what you need to know about Original Medicare, Medigap, Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage Programs. She will also discuss EPIC, (Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage Program), LIS (Low Income Subsidy Program), and MSP (Medicare Savings Program).

Prior to the session, Tina Cardoza-Izquierdo, Director of the Office for the Aging, will hold a public hearing. It will include a discussion of the targeted goals for 2017 and provide a forum for seniors to discuss concerns within the county.
