Interested Nonprofit Agencies Must Submit a Concept Pape
NEW CITY, NY — County Executive Ed Day today announced that the Rockland County Youth Bureau will be in initiating its Request For Proposal (RFP) process for all not-for profit and municipal agencies who wish to apply for 2018 Youth Development Program (YDP) funding. The Youth Bureau administers NYS Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS) YDP funding to promote positive youth development, increase youth developmental assets and decrease juvenile delinquency.
TO APPLY: The Youth Bureau will be accepting emailed Concept Papers thru 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13. Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Non-profit and municipal agencies can only apply for programs that provide direct services to young people 0-21 years of age. Each Concept Paper will be reviewed by the Allocations Committee of the Youth Bureau Board of Directors. Notification will be made no later than November 3 to those agencies that will be asked to submit a full RFP.
