ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. — Ramapo police are on the scene of a crash involving a garbage truck on Forshay Road in Monsey on Monday morning.

The truck, which lost control around 10 a.m. and hit a pole, brought down electrical wires causing a fire in the truck. The Monsey Fire Department is also on scene dousing the fire, officials said.

The driver was able to get out of the truck.

    no way!? cause sheiner had to overcrowd the area and now there isn’t enough room in his one family house turned mega complex for a garbage truck to maneuver?! Who could’ve for seen such problems!!

    False report

    I was there the story was that there was low wires over the driveway and the truck touched it and it became live and after few minutes the garbage inside the truck started burning from the live wires
